The day before yesterday, I went back to my dorm from PSU at 3+am
Yesterday, I went back at 4.30am.
Today, I don't know what time I will be going back.
I'm at the brink of giving up.
Time is the main constraint.

Experiment not going well..

Sulfuric Acid

When things just don't turn out right.
Was preparing solution today.
100mL 6M of sulfuric acid.
Did in the chamber and maybe I poured too fast.
Small explosion or something.
And the acid got on my wrist and upper arm.
Can feel the hotness/heat.
Faster rinsed with water..
Kind of worried though.

Was actually bigger red spots at first.
After rinsing continuously with tap water,
became like the pics on top..
Sigh.

please don't leave a scar.
i'll be extra careful next time.

My experiment failed. Gawd.
I think I'm gonna have a mental breakdown soon.
Redoing and hope it works.
/pray hard/
Guess I will be going back my dorm late.
/sigh/

Please work this time.
SM Town in Seoul today.
Changminnie is sho prettay dressing as girl.

TVXQ! 東方神起 - I love you

Just because..

TVXQ! 東方神起 - I love you
(LIVE TOUR 2014 TREE~ Documentary Film)

Romaji / Translation :
[Changmin] Doushite namida ga deru no nagarete nagarete yuku no
Why do tears come out? Why are they flowing… flowing continuously?
Kotoba ga omoi ni todokanakute
My words fail to reach your feelings
Tsumuida mono hibi ita oto
What we weaved, past echoing sounds
Samayou youni hoho wo tsutatte yuku
As if milling about, they trickle down my cheeks

[Yunho & Changmin] “Suki” nante serifu ja kitto nanimo arawa shikirenai
Just saying things such as “I like you”, for sure it’s impossible for me to express anything
Kuchi ni dasu tabi itsumo tookute
It always feels so distant whenever I put it in words

[Yunho] Kimi ni wa mou iitsukushita keredo
Although I already told you so much
Soredemo tsutaetai dakara utau yo
Because I still want you to know, so I sing:

[Yunho & Changmin] I love you, so I love you. I love you…
[Changmin] …kotoba janakutemo
…Even if without words

[Yunho & Changmin] Ai no oto ai no uta de
By the sound of love, by the song of love
[Changmin] Kimi ni todoke it’s my love song
I’m going to reach you; it’s my love song

[Yunho] Isogi yuku hibi ni nomarete kokoro ga kakikesarete yuku yo
Getting drowned in rushed days, your heart is going to be submerged by them
Togire souna koe ni kotaerarenai
Your voice seems to be breaking and I can’t answer it
Kizuita hito kizukenai hito
Some people noticed it, some people don’t
Wakatte ite mo kyou mo nagasarete yuku
Even though they’re aware of it, today as well it’ll be washed away

[Yunho & Changmin] “Ai” nante kirei goto dake ja nanimo sukui kirenai
Pretty words such as “love” alone cannot save anything
Motto negai wa tsuyoku… moroku
My wishes grow stronger… more tenderhearted
[Changmin] Kotae wa mada mienaide iru kedo
Although I still can’t see the answer
Itsuka todoku to shinjite utau yo
Someday I believe I’ll reach you, and I sing:

[Yunho & Changmin] I love you, so I love you. I love you…
[Yunho] …koe ni naranakutemo
…Even if I can’t make it ring in my voice

[Yunho & Changmin]
Ai wa kitto soko ni todoku
For sure, love will reach there

[Yunho] Kimi no tameni utau my love song
For your sake I’m singing my love song

[Changmin] Ai wo katadoru monotachi ga hontou no imi madowaseru
Things that take the shape of love deceive us about its true meaning
[Yunho] Me wo tojite mou mayowanai
Close your eyes, don’t hesitate anymore
Kimi ga warau made nandodemo sakebu yo
I’ll shout this as many times as it takes until you smile

[Yunho & Changmin] I love you, so I love you. I love you…
[Changmin] …kotoba janakutemo
…Even if without words

[Yunho & Changmin] Ai no oto ai no uta de
By the sound of love, by the song of love
[Changmin] Kimi ni todoke…
I’m going to reach you…

[Yunho & Changmin] It’s my love song.

The first time I watched this video, yea, I almost cried.
I think it's cause of the song and the talks in between.
(although I understand nothing)
Well, who would have thought after so many years,
they still have such effect on me.

I sleep with this song.

Hope to meet them again.
Can't deny I'm less fanatic now
but I still care...a lot.

Koh Lipe, Thailand

30/08/14 - 02/08/14

A short holiday in Koh Lipe
A graduation holiday for Lob.
Since I'm already in Thailand and coincidentally Lob suggested to have our vacation in Koh Lipe.
I'm glad that it worked out in the end after all the hu ha we made about the money exchange currency and booking tickets etc.

Lob and Veen arrived in Hatyai airport on the 29th Aug.
Asked them to take a cab and come to the front gate of PSU.
They were supposed to arrive around 5.30pm.
I kept waiting for them until 6+pm worrying they would get lost and well, they don't have Thai number so could not contact them at all. D=
One of my lab mate, Guy even passed by and asking where I'm going standing there.
When they arrived, we just lepak-ed in my room and went out for dinner. Just the street near my dorm.

Early next morning, we took a tuk-tuk to 'ta lad ka set' (van/bus station) which cost us 40baht each.
Bought tickets to Pak Bara; 110baht and the journey is about 2 hours.

Reached about 10+am and my friend, P'Maew asked her friend to reserve tickets for me. After all the miscommunication on where to find P'Maew's friend, we got our tickers to Koh Lipe with 1000baht roundtrip each. Considered cheaper since it was supposed to be 1200baht roundtrip.
But then, to enter the Pak Bara entrance, I need to pay another 20baht. Entrance fee which I don't think it's necessary at all.

At the Pak Bara port.

Reached Koh Lipe, need to pay for long-tail boat to reach the island which cost another 70baht (50baht for long-tail boat and 20baht for environment care and public development on Koh Lipe. =/
Reached the Koh Lipe shore, pay another 50baht for 3ppl for small motorcar to reach our hotel, Castaway in Sunrise Beach.

Had our late lunch in Nee restaurant.
Tomyam (kinda sweet and not spicy), chicken with basil and vege. (480 baht)

At night, we went for leg massage cause they say when you're in Thailand, massage is a must!
It's 300baht.
After that, hang out at the Castaway bar.
I ordered Coke. Ahem.

Next day, morning breakfast in Castaway
(it's in the package RM420 4 days 3 nights queen-sized bed).

Ordered different sets of breakfast.

Sleepy-eyebags-faces.

Then, snorkeling (500baht). Well, bad experience for me cause
1) we kind of got cheated cause there's no guidance that's promised. gave us the snorkeling equipment and left us to snorkel ourselves.
2) lunch not provided when the fella said he will
3) i don't know how to swim
4) i got seasick. GREAT.
I think it's cause of the breakfast and butter that I ate.
So yea, I vomited and wasted the snorkeling money. =.=
I was telling the guy who operate the boat that I want to vomit. I need plastic and he just asked me to vomit at the sea. Veen or Lob was telling me not to vomit at their side. LMAO.
But the sea is just so clear and my mind just tell me that NO, I CAN'T CONTAMINATE THE SEA. wtf.
And there's ppl snorkeling there aite. It's just so gross?
I shook my head to the guy and keep insisting I want plastic. Fortunately, he found one but with some small holes. fml. I saw another plastic with 2 mineral water. Grabbed and used to out of desperation. Turns out it belongs to another two Thai guys who were in the same boat as us (5 of us in that boat). Never had the chance to say sorry or thank you. Ehe. Well, they seems nice enough asking us if we're okay etc.
The whole snorkeling, I just lie there. Okay la. At least I went down the sea at the beginning. Lob and Veen having fun. I can see the fishes from the boat since the water is so clear.
/trying to comfort self. HAH/

Dinner at night,
Tomyam kung, somtam, fried mix vege and fish. (708baht)

Then went to Thai body massage cause we're addicted to the massage. =p
The masseurs are friendly. (Name of shop : Tonsai)

We walked around the island. Walking Street and even try to watch the sunset in Sunset Beach but then...

As for sunrise, we could not wake up. =o

Third day in Koh Lipe, breakfast in Castaway as well.

Lobhie said she loves breakfast.
I said I love my sleep more than breakfast. :x

The final night dinner, we ate seafood bbq in Zanom restaurant
BBQ seabass and my yummy squid, tomyam, vege. (1065baht)
Never miss tomyam in every meal k.

And we went for facial at the same massage place.
3 treatments = 250baht

*random* my dog in Koh Lipe! ♥

We then wander further the Walking Street until we reached the beach.
Found a cozy bar (I don't know what's the name unfortunately).
I love the stars that night but can't capture in pic.
Star gazing may become my new hobby. /sigh

Ordered our drinks.

The owner is just one funny and crazy like us fella with braided hair.
Chinese kungfu guy looking. LOL

Took some pics with him before we went back.

He helped us to take this pic and maybe he realized he did not a really good job (HAHA) hence, he faster offered to take another (below pic)

It's nice. (:

The lamp in the bar. /fascinated

Woke up early next day to go back to reality.
They provide free long-tail boat to be back to the port and when we reached Pak Bara, bought minivan ticket (130baht) to go back to Hatyai. Going back is always more costly.

Bye Koh Lipe. Missing you.

Some parts I think I missed out. Well, just more craps 3 of us talk everyday and night before we sleep and walking around the island. (:

Glad I have these two friends who I didn't expect to be close with.
We don't even contact at times.
But when we do, things are still the same. (;

Hope three of us will go for a vacation again in future.

*pics credit to Veen and Lob*

just a short summary to sum up this trip
memory
100th post.

Going to Sadao (Malaysia-Thailand border)

7th August 2014
A post on how I extend my stay in Thailand
If any Malaysian students who came to Prince of Songkla HatYai campus and needed to renew your travel visa (is that what it's called? uhm.), I hope this give you some idea.

I need to go to Malaysia-Thailand border to step into Malaysia land and come back Thailand. Nearest is Sadao border or Padang Besar border. Sadao border is nearer hence, I went to Sadao.

I took a motorcycle taxi to "bor kor sor" (bus station) from PSU which cost me 40baht.
From there, find the counter with Sadao written to buy minivan ticket. It's 57baht.

Tell the minivan driver you want to go to Sadao border. It takes less than 1 hour to reach the border. Usually depends on the driver how frequent he stops to drop off customer or send packages/mails.

Once reached, I thought I needed to take a motorcar to go into Malaysia and come back Thailand cause that's what written in most website i read.
NOPE. Lucky there's an uncle who can speak English and wanted to renew his travel visa too.
He taught me that I just need to walk to the counter to get my passport cop-ed.

Ask the arrival/departure form from the office at the left side.
Fill in the form yourself (if they fill in for you it costs RM2).

Walk to another side and get your passport cop-ed again to re-enter Thailand.

Then just walk ahead till 7-eleven to catch a minivan back to Hatyai. The counter selling the ticket is just outside 7-eleven. The ticket back to Hatyai is pricier around 70+baht. The kind uncle paid for me saying I'm still a student. Tell the minivan driver where to stop you. If he's kind enough, he will drop you where you stay. In my case, the driver stopped a motorcycle taxi for me. Hence, I paid another 40baht to get back to my dorm. It takes about 3 hours to go and come back.

Well, can't believe I went alone when I can't speak any Thai. Lucky when I was in the minivan, the girl beside me is a psychologist in PSU Pattani campus. She can speak Malay and a little English. Helped me to tell the driver and so on. Very kind. Even wished me Selamat when she get off.
Then the uncle who taught me how to get my passport cop and paid for my ticket back to Hatyai. Talk to him the whole journey and he seems knowledgeable. A businessman. A traveller. Deals with plant fertilizers. What I remember most, he said
"Be good/kind to others. You'll get it back one day. But when you're doing a good deed, never expect for a repay."
True enough.
Another uncle who sat beside me talked to me too. Turns out he's a Penangite like me! Retired. Having a holiday with family. Very friendly.
The motorcycle taxi who fetched me back actually stopped at the main road. He offered to fetch me till in front of my dorm.

I felt like I met so many nice people in this short journey. =3

Thanks for all the help.
God bless all the kind people.

First of, I'm a terrible blogger (I'm not considered one anyway!) cause I'm lazy as fork. Ops.
Yeah, but suddenly out of boredom I came back to my blog.
Want to blog something happy cause Fifi said that my blog is filled with sad and gloomy posts.
That's the problem with me. I only blog sad and gloomy and emo stuffs. GAH.
Okay. It's okay.
I suddenly felt like blogging again daily cause I want to read back in the future what happened to me (I'm sure I'm gonna forget with my 'excellent' memory). D=

So...I finally get to go oversea university (Thailand je pun but hey still out of the country!).
Currently in Prince of Songkla University Hatyai Campus for my Final Year Project.
Can't deny it's a good experiences. Seeing all the machines I've never seen before and the university is huge. The people here are different but nice. Polite.
Just that I felt a little awkward. Cause I'm an awkward kid. I can't socialize to save my life!
And I felt bad when I need to depend/burden/disturb the phd students here to teach me everything.
Don't have a choice but yea, feeling guilty.
Been a month I'm here. The food is quite similar to Malaysia. The 7eleven is awesome here.

PSU is having an Agriculture Fair. I'm wow-ed by it.
So many stalls and everything is just....there.
I'm sorry but if compared to my university..nope, can't even compare at all.
This is just too grand. /thumb up

I'm doing nothing today cause the one supposed to teach me went to Vietnam for 10 days. The professor is not around. I'm lost in nowhere again.

Will blog about Koh Lipe with Lob and Veen another time as well as how I went to renew my visa stay here another time.

I'm hungry. I need food. I need to walk back.

Hoping for things to turn out better.
I'm here now. No time to regret.
It will be worth it.
